The Alumni Committee is thrilled to announce the 2024 Spring Soirée, set to enchant guests with the theme “Art in Springtime.” This year’s event will take place in a hidden fine art gallery within the historic Down Town Association.

This is the 10th Spring Soiree. The first was celebrated in 2012 and was the idea of Thorsten Schmidt, current Vice-Chair of the Ball Committee, former member of the Alumni and Junior Committees, and 2006 dancer.
The goals were, and are, to have a mid-year event to retain connections amongst the Quadrille community and to offer an opportunity for those newly interested to be introduced to our group. The event is designed to be approachable and less formal. A focus of the event is music and dancing which are so popular with Quadrillers. Net proceeds are provided to the Germanistic Society’s scholarship fund.
Past themes include Springtime at Twilight, Art Nouveau, and Cherry Blossom Festival, among others. These themes influence the event décor and dress of the attendees. Quadrillers are looking forward to the “Art in Springtime” event and dancing to our favorite DJ Raphael amongst the works of fine art.
